I do not have experience with that muffler, but try and find the cutout or call flowmaster and see if the flow design is different with the second incoming source.

https://ws.flowmastermufflers.com/contact/

it has 83000 miles on it and he said 10,900 online but i might get it for a little better i didnt think thas too bad to start with KBB is alot higher than, i drove it the other day when i was home, liked it alot 1 owner out of georgia, i think some older gentlemen might have had it before

and do you like your afe im just lookin ahead and them seem to be the best on price, ha im not tryin to steal all your upgrades but hey if it works it worth it lol

I've got a SI/DO Flowmaster Super 44 and it's pretty damn loud but the drone is a little obnoxious for me.

thanks for all the replies yall are my go to guys for exhaust!!
The tuner isn't gonna change the tone hardly at all, maybe a little under WOT cuz it will be revving up more in between gears. Also, believe it or not me and my buddy have the same Super 44 muffler setup but I have the 4.6 and he has the 5.4 and trust me, strangely the 4.6 is louder with the same flowmaster muffler why I don't know.

I would suggest going with a longer tip if your running it straight out of the back my friends GMC has that setup he wanted 12" tips I suggested 22" tips because looking at the truck from the side you can see the ugly piping with a short tip, but with a long one, all you can see is tip, looks better I think.

Ill get you sound clips soon, my exhaust is 2 cats, and y pipe into duals 2.5" pipe back to 3" tips. I have been told it sounds like a mustang, and that it is very loud. I get good crackling too

I've got an 05' with the 4.6 too and trust me man you don't want the super 44, it's perfect except for the super loud drone under light take-off acceleration and if your on the interstate doing 75-80. At 45-65mph it's fine but get it up to 75-80 and it really lets you know it's there, kinda drones out your radio and makes common conversations a lil difficult. The difference between the super 44 and super 40 is like night and day in my opinion, super 40 sounds great but way less drone.
