Should I buy it?

Should I buy it?
First time on this forum, seemed like a good place for some buying advice.
I'm finally finally looking to buy my first truck, and I found a 2007 F150 with only 32,000 miles. Supercab, XLT, 4WD, 4.6L
The list price is $18,900, which is only a few hundred under KBB. But even though I know its not a great deal, it sure seems like a rare one.
Even though the mileage is so low, what is the normal decay of components on an 8 year old truck? First thing that comes to mind is I might be immediately replacing gaskets, belts and hoses. Am I wrong?

Naw...I have an 08 with 60K on it ...all my stuff looks new still.. unless that truck was sitting in the elements for a couple years , I would think your good to go.

Looks like the price is about $500 over what NADA shows. The mileage is impressive if it was cared for and didn't sit outside in the rust belt you are probably in good shape. There is no way I'd pay above NADA for anything though. Work on that price and get it down, then buy it! I bought a 4.6 last year so I didn't have to deal with the common issues myself and have no regrets. With that mileage, I'd look at tires, brakes, etc and try to start beating them down on the price.

The low mileage is what is selling the truck. I don't see them budging a ton of price based on that because someone will come buy it at that price if you don't based on the low mileage alone. I'd take a 4.6 of that year over the 5.4 any day of the week. If its clean and you like it go for it.

If not from the northeast where road salts usually take their toll, the only thing of immediate worry would be whether normal maintenance was kept up. Take a good look underneath to see how much rust there is.
I have a 2004 4.6L SC 4X4 XLT with all options.
No issues whatsoever. A great truck.

Thanks guys, now I just need to decide if I want to go with it, or wait for a better deal from a private owner.
By the way, I'm in the northwest way outside of Portland, so we get our fair share of rain, but just about no snow/ice. Unless the truck lived in the foothills.
Anyway, thanks again!

The issue with snow and ice is the salt that some states use. If your state doesn't use salt, or where the truck originated doesn't use salt then snow/ice isn't an issue.
