Shopping used Edge Evo's
Looking at used Edge programmers for sale locally (the Evo #15051 and the Evo CS #85150). From what I can tell, the 15051 is for 04-08 F150, but the 85150 is for multiple maker's trucks (Ford, Dodge, GM). Are there advantages/disadvantages when comparing the two? Is the CS worth the extra dough to a guy like me (daily driver/40 mile roundtrip commute, tows a horse trailer couple of times a month). Your thoughts welcome. Thanks.

I got the edge Evo I really like it if ur hauling id suggest some high performance coils. Also a electric fan kit top it off with the programmer and ull feel a good jump in torque and hp. Only thing is if ur going to drive it daily I wouldn't run the programmer on #3 max performance just wen hauling . Go with the # 1 setting wen just driving to work or watever .

I'm curious if an Edge programmer could possibly be "borrowed & shared"?
I'm only interested in removing the 96mph speed limiter on mine, so is it possible to borrow and use a programmer on my truck with the same engine and year model? I don't mind paying a fee for borrowing, just don't want to pay over $300 to buy one just for the speed limit removal.

I agree can't see why ud want to go over 96 lol. There's so many better things a programmer offers then changing top speed. If u dnt want to pay 300 look on craigslist my buddy got his evo for 200$ ready to go

Thanks guys, I guess I'll just learn to live with the 96mph limit, or find a used edge.
Well, the truck gets up to 96 pretty quick, and then I'm "done" out of juice. I step on it occasionally on sprints for quick passing. Nothing crazy or dangerous, I drive sensible and safe, just have a habit of not wanting to just cruise around slow when the road & circumstance ahead allows me to proceed. My truck has a lowered sport-tuned suspension and can handle the speed safely.
