Default Shift indicator bulb burned out

I am a proud new owner of a 2006 Ford F150 4X4 Lariat truck. I've owned it for 1 day ... and I'm sorting our all the little problems. I'll be adding a new Meyers snow blade this week ...

A little problem that I discovered when I drove the truck after dark last night: the light that shows what shift position you are in is burned out.

I got to the bulb today --- but I cannot get the bulb out of the socket. There are 2 wires and connectors to the socket - but when I pulled on the wires they did not come out.

I hate to break something on day one .... so, How do I replace this bulb ????? Is there a new bulb and socket set -- or just the bulb??

it pulls out, hold the connector and just wiggle the bulb.
