Shelby Supercharger on a 2004 4.6???
Is it possible? I found full shelby supercharger setup for 1200, (link is lower down to check out the ad for yourself), I know there would probably be mods needed to make it work, but how much?
I know people keep asking if mustang superchargers will fit the f150 4.6 or 5.4. Ive searched and searched but didn't find any threads that apply to this situation.
I have a 2004 with a 4.6. I want her to go a lot faster, which to me means turbo, supercharge, or swap. Swap would be fun, to put in a carbed and supercharged 302 with a manny tranny or (people may oppose this) a chevy 400 mated to a 6 speed manny. But the swap could be expensive and leave me without something to drive for too long.
A search on kijiji found me 2 reallly cheap super chargers. both of them are off shelbys. $1000 and $1200. here is the link to the one i like http://windsor.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi...AdIdZ309764751
Is there any way at all I could get that to fit? I mean they are both modular engines right? even if it means going to a scrap yard and buying a few engine parts, theres gotta be some way to rig it up
Thanks for the help.

It will most likely fit but the electronics will screw you over for sure and that tuner will not work I would bet.
Also where is the coolant cross over part with the thermostat didnt see it on there.

The Mustang only used the 2v 4.6 (engine in your truck) from 99-04. I've never heard of a Shelby supercharged Mustang from that period.
I'm not 100%, but pretty sure that the supercharger you linked there is actually off a GT500 with the 4v 5.4. Making it fit your engine would be impractical at best.

Call Procharger and talk to them. The 2v SC they used to list online should work with either the [2v] 4.6 or 5.4. You'll need to talk with a tuner/shop to get the SC to work at it's best.

I have a little knowledge with this, about enough to get me in trouble. We have the same engine as the 04 mustang. The front of the engine is slightly different. Front Mount superchargers will work but the third bolt hole is hid behind the power steering pump. Roots mount style will work but you have to build a Frankenstein engine. Someone actually supercharged theirs but had an array of different parts from different vehicles. The reason a mustang is difficult is your intake come in from the left on our trucks, mustangs come on on the passenger side. There is also issues with wires being to short. I hope this helps I was going through the same problem almost a year ago. Good luck.

I had called roughly a year ago. They stopped making them bc it wasn't a high demand for them. Like I said in my previous message the 94 mustang setup will work. 2 out of 3 bolts will go in. The third hole is there, it's just blocked. STS makes a full rear mount system for out trucks even comes with a tune, but they are pretty expensive
