Bent Drive axle? or drive line?
One thing I noticed was when I do a u turn the truck seems to bind ,like the front wheels tilt to much and create grabbing jumipng feeling then the truck really drives like crap when you go straight. also noticed at 55-60 feels like the engine is miss firing but ,it isnt, one thing gas milage is great 150 miles per quatertank of fuel. my 08 tundra only got 14 miles per gal. wish I had it back now thow. darn cliff ate my truck.

I had this issue on my truck. Could feel the vibe in the gas pedal at about 50-70mph. Took it to Ford, tech said rear rubber brake lines failing. Said one was allowing fluid out, but not allowing back in all the way, causing the pad to stick just enough to vibrate. He said it was so minimal, that the pad still looked brand new. Maybe check into this?

Might as well jump on the bandwagon. (Hi, my name's thatIRISHtruck, and...) My truck has this issue too. Although, I've only noticed it recently, and never thought it happened when I first got the truck. Same conditions, as far as speedd, take place when the, "shake," occurs. I thought it was the back of my truck, either (A) losing traction, or (B) hoping around (which I guess would go along with A). Well, let's hope it's the common problem, because I don't have any plans for fixing it.

Default Bad Vibrations

Same exact issue as shawnt63. Would love to know what is causing this issue and how to resolve. Dual stabilizers and force balancing seem to only be temporary solutions for the real cause as the issue continues to persist after these are completed.

i actually think i have an answer. i have the same problem. i was looking on a website that listed all the TSB's for my truck and it said that this issue is caused (if i remember right) when the driveline starts to vibrate at its natural resonating frequency. i dont remember where i read it, but there is a TSB for the issue

found it, http://www.ford-trucks.com/tsb/tsb.p...y-2005/t-04258

If i remember my physics engineering class 1st order vibrations are the start of resonance. correct me if i'm wrong.

yea i get this too, although i noticed the other day i was carrying about 500lbs in the bed, and it was smoother than ever even at 55-60mph, but when my bed is empty i get this vibration.

Default Shaking and vibrating at 60 mph

I have a 2004 f150 with 72xxx miles. I bought it used, little over a year ago and with in the last couple months it started to shake when i reach 60 mph. The shaking is very bad where it rocks the whole truck. i feel the shaking towards the back and then it works its wayup to shake the whole truck. I thought it was my back left tire so i got it realigned by 2 diffrent shops and the problem is still there. Also the shaking does not stop until the truck comes to a full stop. Can anyone help me? is it the driveshaft? or u joint? it just feels like something is getting off balanced.
