Been a while since I had the 08, but I think my dealer quoted 285, plus any breakage.

Do you know if it is a problem when I let them replace the plugs now and I replace the coils 3 days later? It has not to be at the same time?

You can only afford what you can, so let the dealer know that. Worst that happens is that they change the plugs and the stumble is gone or still there.

DO this, if you intend to replace both, just put the coils in now and let the dealer put plugs.

Buy the Lisle tool. It works the best.

Found a mechanic how will do it for me. $160 for labor. $40 for each plug that breaks. I think thats a good price.

Got the motorcraft sp515 plugs and will get the accel coils.

Sounds like a steal. I had to pay $220 with 3 broken plugs from the dealership. I was still pissed at the time bc they had quoted me lower without mentioning the possibility of the plugs breaking.

Also, start looking into buying a new FPDM. You can replace this yourself and it only takes about 10-15 minutes to do. They all go out eventually. Got mine from RockAuto.com for $65 shipped.
