Default Sensor ? Please Help

I have a 2006 150 4x4 with the 5.4. For the past year it has been doing something very strang. You will be riding and all of a sudden it will quit excelerating ,just idling with no response to the gas pedal. I can turn the truck off for a minute or 2 the fire it back up and it's fine. It's only done this 3-4 times in the past year but it's very aggrevating. It recently done it last week and has had a small shake or skip since. The 1st time it done this the check engine light came on and went off, so I went and had it checked at autozone. The guy said it was 1 of 3 different sensors but said there was no way to tell which one.
I was hoping some of you experts on here could help me and may know which sensor would most likely cause the excelerator to quit. Thanks

Your truck is a drive by wire and the throttle body/TPS are known for accumulation water due to position on back side of engine bay! Another cause is if you have a CAI (cold air intake) I have seen Mass air flow sensors go bad or have intermittent issues! Last one is looking into cam phasers! They are know for causing drive ability issues and causing problems!

When you went to auto zone, what codes were thrown? Which 3 sensors did it show? More info please.
