You could figure out how to equip the F-150 with an auxiliary fuel tank that is NOT in the bed of the truck.

In reguards to the turbo set up.... anyone know what the injector rating is on the 04' 5.4L? Since I might need to replace those to if i choose turbo. I have the service manual from ford( big green bible lookin book) but i can not find the specs on them in the book. Thanks.

Something I've always wanted to do was make a dump out of my pickup. That would have been the best vehicle ever when I was doing landscape. You could make a real cheap one or extremely hardcore depending on how much $$$$ you have. Farm surplus stores have hydraulics for pretty cheap.

How about four hydraulic jacks attached under the truck that would permantly mounted but store out of the way somehow and when needed you could jack up the truck for easy tire change if you got a flat. Push a button, the jack rotates down then extends to jack up the truck.

You would also need to decrease the compression ratio, reprogram your ECU, find space for an intercooler, turbo, tubing, turbo oil cooling, and a bunch of other things, in addition to higher performance injectors, for a good turbo setup. Changing an injector vs changing a connecting rod is a fairly big difference. Just a heads up. By all means go for it, but just do lots of research before you dive in.
