I agree with using the sequence of buckles to turn off the system, I WOULD NOT ever just unplug something from the seat or cut wires. In case you didn't know the airbags are tied into seatbelt function, as well as the weight sensor's in the seats, cutting wires and unplugging stuff you cause bad problems during an accident, if your gonna do it, do it right!

I turned mine off for when im on the beach driving, or around the yard, but I wear it everytime i drive on the road, especially since it's a $70 ticket in my state if you don't.
