it worked for me too, but the only difference is the airbag light didnt come on...idk y but it still worked

I'm about to try this out here in a few minutes... Thanks for the write-up! I don't need a reminder to put on my seat belt and chances are if I have it off I want it that way for a reason and don't need a damn chime to tell me I 'forgot' something lol.

Just got done turning that damn chime off! Just to clarify, I had to buckle/unbuckle (treating that as once) 9 times and then when the airbag light flashed repeat it once more for both the driver and passenger side. All said and done, took me under 5 minutes, most of which was spent waiting for the seatbelt light to turn off to start with. Props!

Depends on the dealership. I first did this to my 05 lariat screw at the dealership with the service manager sitting in the passenger seat telling me what to do. Also worked on my 11 Ecoboost work truck.

The directions are actually in the book that comes with your truck. Other codes in there too like always having your doors unlocked for the 4 door guys like me. Don't worry if you have kids the back doors still are looked from the inside but you can now open them from the outside without having to hit the unlock button.

wow just love hacking my Ford F150, lol. cant believe this really worked. i just successfully completing the guide and it worked flawlessly. I myself being a computer guy love to do firmware flashes or root mods to gain complete access on almost everything I own. I now even shop for particular products that offer or have communities that develop open source control, over others that don't. this may not be a gigantic mod but is way cool.
