Default SeatBelt ding elimination code for 04-08 f-150's

Not sure if this has been posted on here or not nut a friend showed me this trick a few days ago so i figured i would share

1st. make sure your truck is off and in park

2nd. push the parking break all the way to the floor.

3rd. start your truck and wait for the seat-belt light to turn off.

4th. after the seat-belt light turns off buckle/unbuckle your seat belt 9 times. (ending with it unbuckled)

5th. the Airbag light should come on

6th. once the airbag light comes on buckle and unbuckle your seat belt one last time. and it will start to flash and turn off.

7th. enjoy peace and quite lol.... you have to repeat this process for the passenger side as well.

hope this works for everyone!!

my truck didnt ever beep when i got it, person before must have done it before i got it. i kind of liked it though, my LS had it and i always wore my seat belt, i found out how to remove the beeping on it and got about 3 seat belt tickets afterward. have had about 2 in the truck in the past 2 months. i kind of like the beep. will repeating this process turn it back on?

Ya it's under the "safety restraints" (or something similar) part of the hand book. You don't have to start your truck to get it done. Like he said you have to do it for both seats. Idk how many others have experienced this, but when you try to shut the beeping off for the passenger seat it will work right after you do it, but will reset itself after some time. My buddy did the same thing to his truck and his passenger seat reset itself too. As long as mine doesn't beep I don't care lol.

So if I do these steps to eliminate the seat belt beeping, what if i want the beeping to come back? What would be the procedures to get the beeping back?

ive tried this but my air bag light starts blinking RIGHT after the seat belt light goes out.
i did all those steps, even trying to ignore the air bag light and continuing with the buckling but no luck!
my air bag light blinks when im waiting for the seat belt light to go out and just continues when it does...
