Default Seat swap

Ok guys I've searched for a while and cannot find a solid answer. I have a 2005 screw xlt that I swapped lariat seats. Now they're wearing out. I want to know if I can put seats from a 2009-2010 in?? I'm trying to avoid recovering the seats for possibly something more comfortable.

I'm sure you can. You may have to modify the brackets.

Default Potential Liability???

I'm in the same boat (pun intended). I'd be interested in swapping out seats as well. I would be concerned about being in a serious accident that resulted in bodily injury if I had modified seats or non-stock seats due to the potential of your insurance company voiding your insurance. I don't know the answer and I don't mean to scare you, but it might be worth checking with you insurance company before you go down the path of modified seats or non-stock seats.

Let us know what you find.

Thanks.

According to a few Web sites the 09 to 15 seat will fit. It also says the f250 seats will fit with a change of the mounting rails

Yes, from looking at several pictures I think the fronts will be no problem but the rear I would have to change the brackets as well..definitely something I want to look into.. I wouldn't mind finding a nice set of platinum seats
