Default Seat Repair/Replacement

In my 06 SCREW with tan bucket seats, the drivers seat has a hole on the left side from getting in/out all the time. What are most of you guys doing to fix this?

Options I am considering:
  • Local upholstery shop - but can they get the same pattern to recover?
  • Junkyard - Slightly hard to find, $250 for front pair, likely at least some wear already
  • Recover seat (from Ford parts, or somewhere else?)
Interested in hearing what others are finding to be the most cost effective way of fixing this problem.

Thanks

I just bought my 04 F150 and I have tan captains chairs and the previous owner actually fixed it with what looked like some adhesive. Seems to have worked really well, sealed the hole right up and is super durable.

a decent upholstry shop should be able to match the material, if it's still available. Otherwise they should have something very close. Check out auto upholstry in the yellow pages

I am actually selling an entire tan cloth seat set out of an 08 crew for $300. If you are interested PM me. Not sure if yours is leather or not but let me know.
