Default Searched, yet still have a leveling kit question

I just installed a 2" AS leveling kit
. I have a 2007 Lariat 4x4. I went with 2" b/c I tow a 20ft bayboat regularly. I hated the rake so pronounced leaning foward, so i went with the 2" in hopes it would have about a 1/2" rake to the front, so when i pull my boat my headlights won't be shining coons in trees. After installation, my front is 1" higher than the rear?? WTF?? I have an appointment monday morning to get the front-end aligned (it has a definate toe-in). Will my suspension settle and drop after alignment?? Will it settle much just after use??? My truck
only has 36,000 miles so i doubt i stretched and wore out my back leafsprings already! Anybody with similar problems or suggestions or comments?????

Just get a Add a leaf in the rear to level it out when you tow. Fat Bob's Garage has a 2" rear add a leaf that will give you a little bit of rake when not towing...

you could add the firestone air bags if your worried about towing, you can level your truck everytime you tow, and yes your suspension should should settle a little after alignment

A block or an add-a-leaf might be the way to go, especially when i pull something. I just didn't think the front of my truck would be 1" higher than the rear when i added a 2" leveling kit (with nothing hooked up are in bed). I'm curious to see if it will go down a little monday when i get my front-end aligned.

If you go with the aal then you increase the rigidity and carrying capacity in the bed and thus the truck will sit higher while towing also
