Default Seafoam every oil change?

So this will be the second time I'm changing the oil since I bought my 04 FX4.

Bought with 82K on it, first oil change came at 85.5K; seafoamed fuel, vaccum line, and in the oil, changed to Mobil 1 high mileage synthetic 5-30w, replaced fuel filter.
Now the ruck has 91k and I'm ready to change the oil again, also with 5-30w Mobil 1 synthetic high mileage.

Should I seafoam again? Does anyone do it before every oil change? Especially since a lot of driving is done in town.

thanks

I've never used Seafoam and see no need to use it before oil changes.

If you are running high quality fuels, and good oil, there is no reason whatsoever to use Seafoam. It's garbage. Read the MSDS.

What's worse - it's the exact same formula as their 'Trans-Tune' junk. If THAT isn't a wake-up call, I dunno what to tell ya. WTF. Read. The. MSDS.

Run some Techon once in a while - that actually works. And do yer regular maintenance items, based upon whatever schedule is appropriate for yer truck's usage. E.g - a lot of shorts trips dictates a more frequent oil change interval, more frequent MAF and TB cleaning, etc.

Save your money - yer truck is not a 2-stroke weed-whacker, lol.

Good luck

5w20.... The fleet mechanics at my work that helped me with my phasers and timing set told me that 5w30 puts too much pressure on the phaser springs and it doesn't get through the ports it needs to when cold. I believe them because our company has 200 fords in it.
This is unless it's hot where you live of coarse.

When it's cold they both should "act" like 5w oil though? right?
I'm asking, not being sarcastic

Well its hot in the summer, not extremely cold in the winter. We may have one or two days of -temps if we are lucky. Does the 5w-20 help reduce that infamous 5.4 sound?

My guys tell me to use 5w20..... If I ever did go 5w30 it better be summer. My truck is doin great because of this advice.... Also believe it or not I guess the motorcraft filter is very important.
I'm listening to them because a lot of the trucks I speak of have over 200000 on them with no timing work done.
They say if the tick gets to me here in June when it's a hundred degrees I can go 5w30 but only if it bugs me
