Oh ok I have some of those harley lights and I recommend to get some kind of that replacable clear film on there because you can see every spec on there from the dark background I wish mine did

Its like clear tint you put on your headlights to protect it from debris and the elements, and you can, change it when its gets bad like maybe every 2 years, only does you good when they are new

lol what did you do, put too many layers of paint on? i did mine a little bit too dark (and got antsy and smudged a little spot seeing if they were dry)..even if you do them too dark, you can do what i did and get some fog or driving lights..i used fog lights and put them under the bumper..it's at least as much light as the stock setup provided...
for the rear lights, i actually bought a set of clear taillights to black out..i tested the difference with the stock lights, and it was way brighter using the clear ones...
for anyone else thinking about doing it...i wouldn't use more than three light coats or so on the headlights...i haven't had any trouble with the man yet...they've been blacked out for almost a year now...just don't do them too dark...you can add to, but you can't remove..
oh and if you're gonna do your third brake light...it looks good when the light is off, but when it's on it has a crackle look to it...maybe try some adhesion promoter or something...
