Default Satellite Antenna question

I just bought a 2007 F150 and it does not have Satellite radio. It does appear to have a satellite antenna along with the standard whip antenna. Is this normal and will that antenna work with an aftermarket Sirius radio?

If the unit has GPS you're good to go for sirius. If you upgrade to a unit with GPS you will need the antenna (super cheap) and will work for satellite radio, that's what i end up doing

if you have the stock sirius antenna you can use it with the SXV-300, just take the yellow plug off the end of the wire which should be somewhere near your radio wires and plug it into the aftermarket tuner. Thats how I have mine setup
