So I plan on painting part of my rims and I know you need to sand and all that good stuff. But when you sand to you sand till its real smooth or kinda rough? If someone could help me out with this, that'd be great.

Just scuff them paint then wet sand them smooth then after a couple coats clear wet sand then clear again. Post some pics
