Default Saleen Grille Setup

I like the concept of the offroad lights behind the grille, but I have a Saleen grille on my truck. Is anyone running lights behind the saleen grille and if so, what kind of light output are you getting? It looks like the slats of the grille might be too thick for this mod to be practical...just curious!

A light bar would probably work fine if you spaced it evenly between the slits.. just a thought

Yeah I would say a LED light bar might work.

I'm running the raptor lights behind my Saleen grill. I fabricated my own light bar. I have more pics of it in the "raptor lights" forum topic page 2 and 12 i think.

I am sure a single row light bar would be the best if mounted correctly. Double row may get too big. I am debating a 40" single row behind the grille as well.

Thanks for the responses guys. I was under the impression those light bars get pretty pricey. Does anyone have an estimate of what they run?

Depends where you buy from. Extreme Offroad Lighting has been good to me but lots of customer service complaints lately. His product is solid and reasonable. Totron lights on eBay seem pretty cheap. You can find these bars under $500 if you look.

I've got 2 6" lights behind mine and the light out put isn't very good at all. I would definitely go with a LED bar for sure
