what cab and size bed do you have? I just put mine on yesterday, it is loudest right before and around 2k rpm which is where a lot of my normal driving acceleration is....
at idle it has a soft rumble, not very loud after the engine is warm, and when flooring it it has a smooth loud tone across the band.

I really love the sound. I wouldnt say it is extremely loud, but its obvious its not stock ya know?

I plan on getting sound clips but its snowing out and I dont feel like putting the camera down in the snow haha.
if you search 'edelbrock king ranch' on ebay there is a clip but it isn't the best clip

well the kit I bought off ebay came with no instructions so that doesn't help. the install was fine, but the kit must be for a shorter truck because we were a few inches short connecting to the old system.

wasnt a problem, we just re-used the old gasket and cut a piece of 10 or 11 inches off the old system and coupled it in to fill the gap.

when the snow melts I will take some pictures of what we did.

here are some sound clips, doesn't sound exactly as it does when in drive but you get an idea. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fn41K7a8Ioo

also, there is this thread with a little input on the saleen exhaust.

I will do a write up of the install and everything in the product review section later

hey i bought the saleen cat back for my 06 4.6L supercab. honestly i didnt get instructions, there is no mounting hardware for the rocker panels, the mounting hardware from saleen is 100 per side. i was pissed when i heard that, and my fuel line was right in the way of the driver side exaust route. its a pain in my ***. i wouldnt get it or reccomend it for anyone. Im thinking of selling it cheap and going for a gibson or banks system. original routing and probably stainless. saleen isnt stainless. if you go with it, get high temp paint. another mistake on my part.

any suggestions on mounting the rocker panels without shelling out the bucks for the installation kit?
