Saleen 23" x10 wheels w/ 30 & 44 mm offset
I have a 2005 F150 Supercrew Lariat 2wd with factory 18" wheels, I assume since the tires are rotated front to rear and crossways that the offset is the same front and rear. The new 23" x 10" Saleen wheels come 30mm front and 44mm rear offset or vise versa. what is the reasoning for this and should I get them all four the same, or try to so that I can rotate the tires front to back and get better mileage? The factory tires are 185/60R18, the ones on the Saleen truck are 305/40R23. The factory tire is approx. 30" in diameter and the 305/40R23 are 32.5" I know I will need to recalibrate speedo.

Don't bother with the speedo, it's not worth it unless you have a programmer (like the Edge) where it's easy. If you go with the Saleen 23" wheels the 44mm go in the front and the 30mm go in the back, this is a must or the wheels will rub.

How many miles do yal expect from these tires not being able to rotate them? Discount wanted just over 200 to break down the wheels and tires and swap the tires to the other rim to "rotate them".

I dunno, I have a set on the way too, I could not beat the price, $450 for 4 new chrome 23's (not including shipping) and $725 (w/shipping) for 4 conti 23" tires. Heck I just paid almost as much for 4 tires for my nissan frontier crew cab in 16" ($150 ea) so yeah that is an issue but not too much, I can always just buy 2 more front tires 30K down the road....?
