Bummer! I'm assuming the truck did its job and protected you without injury. Trucks are replaceable, lives aren't. Have fun truck shopping for the replacement!

There was a tornado on the road I live on and I live in a trailer so I grabbed my dog and left... Some water was running across the road and I hydroplaned and lost control and an oak tree got me... I walked away with only 3 minor scratches and nothing wrong with my dog

Cheap insurance company? My friend payed $9,000 for his Hyundai, had it a year, totaled it, they gave him $11,000. He had state farm. Go enjoy whatever you end up buying though

Glad youre ok man, looks like the truck did its job, the windshield doesnt even look broken. It still amazes me how well these trucks perform in accidents.

I can assure you the frames are not made of aluminum, they are designed to fold and crumple in the front like that to slow the deceleration during impact. Its one of the main reasons people are able to walk away from accidents like this now days, the truck in a way sacrificed itself to protect you.
