Just be careful because burning up the wiring probably involves more cost and labor than installing a new hitch!
^if this doesn't work, you may be SOL

I think I will be using the acetone / atf mixture for a couple days, then the slight pressure, heat, BFH on all sides...I will update with any progress.

If you can see the front side of the hitch from under the truck, make sure you spray some oil in that way too... Once you get it out, goop some anti-seize on there before you put it back in and it won't happen again. Good luck man...

Put the pin back in and tow something big and heavy with significant tongue weight. Tow it down some rough roads, wash board, etc. should be enough to get it moving again.

Happened on my 98. What I did was take the tailgate off (can swing hammer harder), pb blast it, and sledge hammer. Couple of hard hits and it slowing backed out.

And if THAT doesn't work get a Bic lighter and spray it with flaming penetrant. That REALLY combines all the forces !!

Oh, God, don't actually do it. I was joking. Maybe...
