Default Exhausts.. which are the loudest, best quality, best priced... etc

I'm looking for a new exhaust and want one thats really loud and obnoxious, but not defening (thats what my vette is for lol). I want a nice rumble at idle and cruise and to be really loud when I lay the hammer down. Quality and price are also factors to hold accountable, so lemme know what you guys have to say.

On my 06 I used to have, I just took off the whole exhaust up to the cat and fabriacted a 3 foot down pipe from the cat and that thing sounded wicked, but I'm sure that couldn't be too good for backpressure. Could I do engine damage with a set-up like that?

Use the search and type in the word "exhaust"...exhaust topics such as what you're asking (loud, best performing, cheapest) have been discussed many, many, many times.

You'll have plenty of reading to keep you busy.

I just bought my truck over the summer and she had raven exhaust, midas brand, already installed on her which doesn't sound too bad. I however want to have the exhaust redone and do true dual with borla mufflers. I have borla exhaust on my BMW Z3 and I always get complements on the sound.

Oh you have a vette? Wow, you are soooooooo cool. Tip: Not many girls on this site to impress dingis. The ones who actually are on here are pretty chunky and nasty. Unless its the men you are trying to impress. That's not it is it?

Well I have a magnaflow with 3in tube with a turn down pipe right where the bed starts and I haven't heard really any street legal trucks that are louder. My friends say its pretty loud, but im going to make a video of it and the sound soon. so you will be able to hear it.

i doubt that that setup is louder than a flowmaster or a no muffler at all setup...
