Default Running Boards

Hey guys, quick question. I have a 2012 screw fx4, just took off my running boards in favor of AMP powersteps. I have a friend with a 2008 screw fx4 with no running boards. He was interested in maybe buying my old steps from me, but only if they will fit. Has anyone here every tried installing the 09-14 steps on an 04-08 screw? Any advice would be great. Thanks fellas.

Post some pics once you put those amp steps on, I have the amp step that flips up on the back of my truck (under my bumper)and I love it. It helps getting in the back of the truck with the 6" lift !
