Default running boards

Found a set of running boards locally for an 07 super crew f150.

I've got an 04 super crew. All research tells me that they will bolt up from 04-08, but to me, the mounting brackets look wrong.

Will these work on my 04?

I cant see the pic, but it shouldbolt right up as long as you have a new body style and not an 04 heritage.

Yea, I have the new body style. If you click the pic it will open bigger.

Do they mount under the body or to the frame?

Mine bolted to the body if I remember right.

IDK if you can see the brackets or not, but here are mine off my 04 SCREW... 4 bolts per bracket

yep, those are the ones that I was thinking of.

I know my body has the mounting holes, does anyone know if the frame has the correct holes to mount the other style? Or could anyone post some pictures how they mount so I could go see if my frame has the right holes?

Mine (factory) bolt to the body only. They dont touch the frame in any way. They look just like the ones in the pic. They install with 8 bolts/clips per side in roughly 15 min.

I had 2001 and 2004 new body , I tried to put same running boards but didn't match up holes on body. Only way to put on is if I drilled hole. So if you have a heritage , i don't believe it will match up.
Not sure what your paying for them but I got the 4" oval raptor series brand new on my o4 for 200.00 shipped to my door and there awesome.
