Got mine in this past Monday. Now just need to do something about the horribly faded cowl panels.

I bought my truck used and unfortunately don't have the cowl ends or the plugs. Anyone know where I could purchase the plugs so I can properly secure the cowl ends?

All I did was scrub them with a brush and purple power degreaser, let them dry and sprayed a very light first coat and waited 30 mins. Then Did a second, third, and fourth coats. And I'm very happy with the results.

Can you tell me what brand plasti-dip you used and where you purchased it from? Those look brand new, very nice job. I can only hope mine turn out that good.

Plasti dip is the brand. You can purchase it in black in stores at most Home Depot. Or online at dipyourcar.com and other places. They make it in a spray paint style can and also some that you thin yourself and use in a paint sprayer.

Absolutely disgusting.
$25K plus truck and I have to replace two little pieces ofplastic due to inferior design and materials.
Truck was making odd noises for weeks at highway speeds onlyto discover the piece of crap cowl ends were falling apart.
Really sad FORD! ConsideringI can put a milk jug in the trash and it will be around for the next 50 years.I guess those that love cows pay more attention to product quality andreliability?
