RPM's when towing?
Pulled our RV last weekend for the first time and was fairly happy. Just wondering if the rpm's I saw while going up hill are ok. I was pulling ~50 mph at 3500 rpm. I don't want to kill the engine long term but also don't want to be the guy going 30 mph and getting yelled at by everyone. :-)

Thanks Guys! I think this weekend I'll try the higher octane and tow settings on my tuner and see if that helps. Any chance the Gotts mod gives you a little more power for towing?

First of all the higher tuner settings are usually not recommended for towing as they override some safe guards for towing heavy loads (like redcing power during shifts and increasing shift rpm and firmness). If your tunner has a tow mode, use that. The higher level tunes often run warmer as well due to increased timing, thus requiring a higher octance fuel.
To answer your first question, towing a load uphill at 3500 rpm is fine. Keep it steady and not to the floor and your engine will do just fine. I had to run even higher when towing with my 2002 Silverado to get up hills, screaming at times
