I have 4.10 gears and I have never found the power to be lacking. I have to pull out into traffic on wet pavement left turn and up hill regularly and it requires 4H to get hooked up.

So my next question is how are you guys who are running superchargers getting your trucks to hook up without carrying a few hundred pounds of sand bags in the bed?

Yes i was refurring to only the install as 1000 dolars and with the rousch kit there was no additional parts needed beside the coolant fro 10 bucks or so. As far as hooking up goes i run 33s so that is all i do, but they still spin for a while.

The limited slip on my FX4 helps with taking off. It might break traction for a half second or so, but after that, it just goes.

I don't floor it from a stand still... Then again somtimes flooring it at 30 breaks em loose. Depends on how cold it is. Its really no different than driving a Vette or any other fast car. Just cause it can burn em down doesn't mean you can't drive it normally.

Default Roush Supercharger

Need some help. Bought a Roush supercharger second hand a couple years back. Around $1,700.00. Came with most parts. Didn't put it into my 2006 5.4L 3V FX4 because I knew the motor in that truck was in bad shape from the day I bought. After 3 years of running diesel oil to clean it, she finally seized. I am purchasing a remanufactured 3-year 100,000-mile motor. Since the old is coming out and the new going in, I thought now would be a good time to install the Roush. While the new motor is out or at least all attachments are off it. Yes, probably will void the warranty.

I am missing pieces still and having trouble sourcing them. Need help with what I am missing or alternative parts that may work.

This supercharger was purchased to install onto a 2006 5.4L 3 V

That motor is being swapped out for a 2008 5.4L 3 V with the improvements regarding the spark plugs. Someone told me the pully system is different between the 06 5.4l and the 08 5.4l.

Is there anything different that I need to be made aware of or will this supercharge fit either one?
