Default Roush Supercharger

I have been looking at getting a roush supercharger and was wondering if anyone has some thoughts on them theyd like to share. I also was wondering what it would cost to have a shop instal it.

I'd recommend you get the Saleen or the Whipple..these both are twin screw supercharges and function better and make more usable hp.

I 2nd that. Same money and at least 20 more hp and lots more torque. And its avaliable pretty much off the line. I'm making over 400lb ft at 2600rpm and peaking at 458lbft at 3900rpm. It never comes close to dropping below 400 even at redline. Roots blowers can't hang.

I have the Roush kit and I like it. I run 13's in the 1/4, and do lots of towing and 4X4 use. the Roush kit is the best complete kit on the market

Not trying to start an arguement but the Whipple kit is complete and you don't have to send your computer to them and they make more power for the same $$$. So I'm curious how is Roush the best complete kit?

The whipple kit does not come with injectors. and if you put a supercharger on your truck and you run the tune that comes with it your kit again your down on power. you always want a custom tune.

.....and my Roush came with a 3y/36k warranty the whipple voids all warranty

I was looking at the roush charger becasue it is only 2400 bucks now on the roush site. Blown ford said the wipple is the same price, i was wondering where to find that price at. I would prefer to go with the wipple but havnt seen a decent proce on it. Thanx for all you guys input!

But don't you only get the warranty if a Roush dealer does the install. Also one more thing I know about the Roush Tunes are they are very conservative and to get the most out of it you will need a dyno tune.I have a buddy with a Whipple on his Stang and no issues, tons of power and he beats on it....

if you use your truck as a truck, go with the roush kit, but if you are building a truck for performance, whipple hands down.
