Default bilstein 5100s, rough country level or rancho level?

Ordering my level today. I just seen the rough country level offers a rear block. Am i going to need it since the truck is an fx4? After researching a bit i have read the fx4 only needs an inch and a half level or have i been misinformed?also, if i run the bilsteins is it just the shocks on front and rear to lift or are other parts required?

If you run the bilstein leveling struts its the front struts only. Thats how it levels it out. Also it depends on your year, apparently the 04-05 have more rake thus needing more lift up front then the 06-08. idk tho cuz my 2.5" RC level made my 2007 sit totally level. best best is to just measure.

I run the ranch 9000 adjustables and they leveled my 05 perfectly. I run 33" tires and they do rub slightly at full turn do to my wheel width.

Yeah not necessarily my 08 was 3" higher in the rear. Its always a good idea to measure it and be sure before you buy.

What is your goal.... if you want your truck level buy a 2.5 inch spacer and no rear blocks...your FX4 will be almost perfectly level...if you add blocks during this it will not be level...like mentioned above ...good to measure first...but there's no reason to add blocks just to level your FX4...I installed a 2.5 inch sky jacker level...no blocks on my FX4 and it sits within a 1/4 inch of level. ensure you get an alignment after install.

Hey tech rep, just measured and the rear is 8.75 with the front 7.75. It is dark out so I may be off a tad. Will get a better measurement in the morning. I called an accessory place today and they told me the Readylift 1.5" is what I need and it would clear 33s. Most others I have seen say they will clear 35s so that is a concearn. Going to see if I can find some 04 fx4s online to see what they are running.

Where are you measuring from and to? When I measured I got 36.5 in front amd 39.5 in the rear. So i am just wondering how you took your measurements.

I measured from the ground to the flare. On my 04 FX4 I had a difference of 2 inches
