Default Rough Country 6"

Well guys, i have been pondering the thoughts of getting a lift for my truck. I have a 2008 XLT Screw 4x4. Its leveled 2" and I have 35" tires with 20" wheels. I love the way it looks but i cant help but have the urge to be higher, lol.

Are lift kits worth the trouble of installation/money? I don't go off-road too too much so i wouldn't need it for those purposes, mainly just wanting to have a taller sitting truck.

As far as i have found the rough country are the cheapest/best for the money for my needs.

Any opinions/input on the situation is welcomed, just no bashing please.
Also, if anyone has the same tire/wheel specs as me, I would love to see some pics!

Thanks!

My RCX kit just showed up at the doorstep today with wheels and tires. I am in the same boat as you - I travel off road very lightly, though fairly occasionally, but the lift is just something I wanted. If you want - pull the trigger. I can't speak to the install...will keep you posted once we get it going.

Thanks for the input guys. It would definitely just be more of a "want" than a "need" but i sure love the looks of them.

As far as install, my buddy put 7.5"s of lift under his truck so i would probably get him to help to save installation money.

Im just stuck because i already have 35s on 20s and i know if i raise her up, I will want 37's with 22s+ lol the build never ends

You can fit 37s but it kind of takes away from the lift, keep the 35s till you need new ones and maybe by the. You can get a body lift with 37s
