Rotors help! Wont come off
okay am i missing something here???? Everything I read, take the caliber off the old rotor. Pull off the old rotor then. Most likely wont come free so tap it with hammer. Well I have tapped, I have tugged, I have hit with the hammer. Wont budge. Any other tips beside dynamite would be greatly appreciated!

Hit the area between the lug studs really hard with a good sized hammer. Not a carpenters hammers. hit between the studs and hit the back of the rotor every once and a while. it will come off.

You didn't tell us if it was 2wd or 4wd. When I did mine I use some brake cleaner to break up some of the crud that has built up over the years. After letting it soak a couple of minutes I was able to get them off with ease. If you have a 2wd did you remove the cotter key and nut?
Take a look at this, may clear somethings up:

i read that article.. still stuck where do u spray the brake cleaner exactly? around the lugs? I do not want to hit the wrong thing, I know that stuff can be like acid in a can!

I sprayed the cleaner all around the lugs and I use the straw to spray in the back side of the rotors as well. Make sure the rotors are even and not slanted, which will causes them to bind. Try tapping the them back on spinning them every few taps and once you have gone round once or twice, do the same on the back side to get them off. You my be having more trouble than usual if you rotors had gotten to hot in the past, and have binded to the shaft. Do you own any larger pulley removers or 3lbs slug hammer?

Found this for you, looks like somone else had issues with back rotors. They got it off with a piston compressor, photos are included.

Slide hammer with the hook attachment. Put the hook in the vents at the edge of the rotor. Work your way around. Be careful with the slide hammer though, it has some power. You can get one on loan from Autozone. My rotors seem to freeze on solid and any rust buster for fifteen minutes and the slide hammer have yet to fail.
I'm not sure how people get them off otherwise, as regular hammers don't give you that much leverage inside the wheel area...
