Default Roof rack with sunroof

Hey guys and gals! I am thinking of getting a roof top tent for my truck which requires a roof rack, easy enough i suppose. I know Yakima makes one for the f-150, but does having a sunroof affect this? I wouldn't think it would but just wondering if anyone has any expereince with this. Also are they easy to install/remove? I know there are other brands too just let me know if you have any expereince with any of them. THANKS!

After seeing the roof structure of a F150 cab, I'd be surprised if the roof could support any amount of weight.

ive watched a f150 s.cab roll over pretty hard and had minimal damage to the roof. They must have some good support in there??

Oh really?

note the racking of the cab, and look at how many braces (ZERO) there are in the roof. Unless the racks are mounted to the outer structure only, and the cross bars never touch the roof, I wouldn't want to be putting weight on that roof.

well yeah theres going to be about 300lbs of weight on it if i go with a rack. The weight of a f150 is what 7000 lbs. that isn't that bad of damage considering the amount of weight rolling onto it with force.and of cource the rack is mounted to the edge of the cab
