Driving my truck today ( 04' F150 5.4 ) with 1/4 tank of gas and the engin just sut off. It was about 28 degrees out so I thought it could be water in the fuel. Pulled it to a budies headed shop and put some dry gas in. Three hours inside and still nothihg, changed the fuel filter still nothing. I just replaced the fuel pump one mounth ago and its a brand new ford pump not some cheepy. I then called a guy i know that a parts manager at a ford dealership and he said they have had alot coming in with rusted out "fuel pump modules"? They said with all the things I have checked thats thats more than likely what it is, so I went and purchased one ($85). It is located above the spare tire and gets pritty crapy. Pulled the old one out and changed it, still nothing. It spits and sputters like it wants to start but will not stay running for more than fore or five seconds. I have no ideas at this point, any help would be really helpful. thanks
