Always runs the same between 190-200. The t-stat maintains that, the fans are just there to ensure the coolant can do it. Plus over 30 mph the fans hardly run from all the air coming through.

I wouldn't mind doing the efan mod on my FX4 what all did you see as a plus on doing the efan mod

Slight power and mpg increase and colder AC at idle.

The modular motors have what's called a cam follower instead of a pushrod/ rocker system. Jessell makes aftermarket followers that have proven performance gains but they are expensive. Your best best bang for buck is going to a different profile camshaft. But like Otto said on the trucks they don't offer a lot unless you go with a profile that was designed for a mustang which I feel wouldn't work to well on a daily driver pickup
