rocker arm

Always runs the same between 190-200. The t-stat maintains that, the fans are just there to ensure the coolant can do it. Plus over 30 mph the fans hardly run from all the air coming through.

The modular motors have what's called a cam follower instead of a pushrod/ rocker system. Jessell makes aftermarket followers that have proven performance gains but they are expensive. Your best best bang for buck is going to a different profile camshaft. But like Otto said on the trucks they don't offer a lot unless you go with a profile that was designed for a mustang which I feel wouldn't work to well on a daily driver pickup
