What did you use to paint the stars black??? I would think that they cost to much to be doing something like that. I would be worried that I would mess them up.

I like them. I have xd monsters; however, the Rock stars are a great looking wheel. I really like the idea of painting the star black too!

I use under coat black spray from auto zone it's works great against rust , chips, fading , chemicals, water, ect. I use it all over my truck: wheel well , axel , especially differential case ,cause that's the first thing to rust underneath. Keeps it looking brand new. Im new so I'll try to send a picture.

jeffreymd2 Where did you order your rims from and what size did you get? I might get some this summer and would like to stay close to stock so I was thinking of getting the 18x9 rockstar rims. Someone on here siad they didn't like thw 18x9 and they looked funny, I think the would look fine. Also do you have to get a leveling kit?

I got mine from 4wheelonline.com. It was the cheapest I could find. They are 18x9 with 5 inches of back spacing. With 295/70/18 and a hbs 2.5 leveling kit I had to do a little trimming nothing major.
