Rize Industries 12" lift...
Does anyone here know someone that has done the Rize industries 12" lift on an F-150. I have been planning to do the 8" lift with 37's but I drove a truck the other day that had 46's on it and I think I really want to do the 12" lift with a set of 40's. Just wondering if anyone knew someone with experience with this lift...thanks guys.

Agree with ATOM...plus you would need a new rearend for the gears you will need anyway. Whats the point ??

36" tires are about the max you want to run on a stock ford 1/2 ton drive train. Get any bigger and you are going to start breaking expensive parts. I do know someone that put on an 8" lift and 38's but he only showed the truck, never actually used it.

f150's hold up decent to 37's with regearing to 4.88's. swap in some good upper control arms, total chaos or something similar with oversized and rebuildable ball joints, then your lowers are the weak link.

also the prize of the 12" rize is insane, around 7grand for the base kit. if you are set of 12" inches of lift, i would go with bulletproof, alot cheaper and for the price of the base rize kit, you can get the bulletproof with fox shocks, full leaf springs for the rear, upper control arms comes with uniballs, way better kit IMO for the price.

Thanks for the link to the bulletproof suspension company, that's pretty much what I'm looking for. Until now I thought rize industries was the only company making a 12" kit. I was weary of doing 40's myself because I didn't know if the truck could handle it. Maybe 38's are as big as I should go with the correct gearing.

if your truck is gonna be a road warrior, i wouldn't hesitate to put 40's on it, do it once, do it right and how you want it. the uppers are rebuildable and the bottoms will the only stock thing that will wear out, i say go for it, it won't cost more than a few hundred bucks to rebuild the front end.
