Rhino Lining
I have an 04' FX4 and my truck has painted bumpers and bottoms of the doors. I know they have FX4's with the gray/black bumpers and bottoms of doors and I really like that look. What do you guys think of rhino lining those things? has anyone done anything like that?

Haven't seen an F-150 that way but I have seen other trucks and a landcruiser done like what you discribed...It didn't look bad to me...

I've been contemplating doing this too. I have my bumpers and fenders painted (myself to see if it was the color I wanted) and think they would be so much durable, less times me having to repaint or even worry about chips/scratches. I know to get my bumpers & fenders painted from the shop they wanted $400. What do you think it would run for rhinoliner to be put on?

I was gonna do this but they wanted to charge me u
700bucks.100 for each bumper and 250 for each side which made no sense to me because the sides are smaller area then the bumpers.

probably more for the side because there might be more prep to it, like masking off the entire side of the truck an stuff like that. i have also wondered about the because the very bottom of my fenders have gotten chipped up from rocks off road, does rhino lining do colors too? i would like to get a darker gray to blend in a little more instead of black

700?!?!?!? Damn, I could repaint my truck once a yr for 5 yrs (do it myself) for that price. I'll have to check a local shop here and see what they say. I'd be willing to do 550, but not no 700.

I went to the hardware store and bought two cans of Herculiner, some rollers, and brushes and did the bumpers and side panels on my 94 Grand Cherokee and it turned out great. Cost a little under $100 for everything and it only took a few hours. I sold the Jeep to my father in law and he says it's still holding up strong, even with North Dakota's nasty winters. I have several other Jeep buddies who did the same thing and they are all satisfied with the quality.
