Default Review of Schaeffer Oil

I must say that I am impressed with the results of changing the oil to the Schaeffer Supreme 7000 series.

First off,
The cold start knock in the top end of the engine is gone.....(common w/5.4 3v engine.)

2nd,
After two tanks, gas mileage has gone up 1.467 mpg,I am not changing the way I drive at all.

3rd,
This might be the placebo effect, but it seems to be idling smoother.

I will post a UOA up after I get about 4k for miles racked up on it.

Where did you find this oil?? I have never heard of it before now. Sounds like something worth trying. Is it much more expensive?

At the rate I am driving I am going to do a UOA in June.

So far I have been very happy with it.The cold start knock that comes from the cam phasers has not been apparent since the switch to this oil as well.

Pretty sure they are based in St. Louis MO - a couple blocks from the Budweiser brewery.

Did you use the same viscosity as Ford recommends or did you use something different?
