Default Reverse light out (yes, I did try to change the bulb)

Sorry, this is probably a noob question, but my driver's side reverse light is out and I have no clue why. Replaced the bulb but it still didn't work. Is this a fuse? Bad wiring? I have a bone-stock and completely unmolested '04 if that helps. Thanks in advance and please don't get mad, I know it's a dumb question.

how's the bulb socket, they do go bad? You need to check the wiring, I can't see a fuse being bad that does not affect both bulbs.

Yeah I was thinking a fuse would affect both bulbs too. I'll check the socket, thanks for the suggestion!

If it's not the plug then follow the wiring there may be a break in the wiring or corrosion somewhere
