Default reuse transmisson fluid?

Ok guys. I rebuilt my transmission 5000 miles ago. I used amsoil heavy duuty transmission fluid. Tomorrow I'm replacing my cracked flex plate and thinking of replacing the torque converter since its under warranty just in case my squeak sound is coming from the torque converter. Since my tranny fluid has only 5000 miles on it, do you think I could strain the fluid out of the torque converter and reuse it since its basically new? What are your thoughts?

Use new fluid. But I gotta ask, did you not replace the converter when your trans was rebuilt?

Yes I replaced the torque converter. I've just read some articles where the TC can make a chirp sound like mine is doing. But the flex plate can make that chirp sound too. I'm just in limbo to just replace the flex plate which is cracked, then slap it back together and then have the torque converter chirping and have to break it all back down... I was just gonna replace it again just to make sure. But if y'all think the flex plate with fix the issue then I'll leave the TC alone.

I would just replace the flex plate that is obviously defective and chance that the torque converter is still good. Just my 2 cents.

Do/would you re-use your engine oil?

I just replaced the flex plate and left everything else alone. The flex plate had a 4.5in crack in it. Reinstalled the new one and everything runs like a champ now.
