Retrofitting Easy Fuel Inlet on a 2007.
I have a 2007 F150 Flareside, and it would appear that time has taken it's toll on my paint with the gas cap dangling down and wearing a partial circle. It's not quite the kind of patina I'm after. So I'd like to know if anyone has tried retrofitting an Easy Fuel inlet onto a late model F150.
I've not seen a picture of the Easy Fuel inlet assembly by itself, so I've no idea if any mods are necessary to make it fit. Though I can't imagine it would be that hard.

I have looked at a few that have come thru the shop and considered it. Seems like you would just have to swap the neck but I haven't looked that close.
FWIW there is a hook on the fuel door hinge to hang the cap from.
