Default Retrofit into Aftermarket Euro Headlight?

hey all,

I recently did a retrofit into OEM headlights but one of my beams is being messed around with due to the lens being slightly damaged (tiny little weather cracks) which can't be wet sanded out so I figured I'd buy a set of euro style aftermarket lights and swap the lens, but the only problem I have with that is would the HIDs melt the lens on aftermarket lights?

So basically what I'm asking is has anyone done a retrofit on these lights before and had experience with it?

should work fine since alot of people sell retrofits and use affermarket lights since not alot of people want to spend alot of $$ on oem's. how hard is it to instal projectors ?

Extremely easy. Just gotta make sure you have them perfectly level otherwise your cutoffs will be crooked. And the reason I ask is because I did a retrofit on my eBay lights before (the type with projectors and LEDs and such) and the lens got distorted over time right where the beam shone through.

I know they make retro kits specifically for those aftermarket headlights so I would imagine your plan would work just fine
