"To keep fair with this I think MorganClarkes vote had been done already. the voter said "Guess I dropped the ball on this one. I voted for morganclarke - the fab that went into that truck is amazing." how i read into that is the the vote was already done." thread #33

heck yeah! the goodness that has come out of this is the the "powers that be" have understood us commonfolk and are addressing the issue, and that my fellow 04-08ers is the accomplishment! Billy@TruckImage.com and I have been talking all day and all is good. there are NO hard feelings at all on either side. its been a great experience and i'm sure its just gonna make things even better!

Oh well I suppose. I personally like Mrocha and yours best bigdawg. But I was the one who nominated Mrocha and had to show my love (well before this post was started). I do have a question Billy@TruckImage.com... If someone who did not get nominated for truck of the month had posted to same thread, just asking the 04-08 crowd to go vote, would that still have been against the rules? Its a little vague on the rules page and says its up to the mods discretion, so I was just curious what you think?

I would say that no, that wouldnt be against the rules because the nominated person wasnt the creator to gain an advantage. Keep in mind, this is the first month so we are still working through things. With that said, next month we may be changing things up to allow more freedom. Basically, if you put in the work to get people to vote for you, you should be able to gain those votes. We just want it to be fair this month since that wasnt a part of the rules.

I'm all for this 04-08 crowd sticking together to try and win but this months voting really opened my eyes about this forum. Plain and simply the newest trucks are going to win no matter what if we are put up against them. Not to talk crap but the truck that's winning right now has a little lift and rims and tires. Almost every other truck in the competition has more than that. Not to be depressing but we had a good run, it's time for the newer trucks to have their moment of fame. We did the same thing to last body style of trucks.

If you guys havent noticed MRocha is right behind Caribidae with his 04-08, and morganclarke is in 3rd currently with his 97-03. In the end, its the members nominating and voting for the trucks. I dont think it has as much to do with the body style as you guys might think. As some others have mentioned, the picture itself has a LOT to do with it. If you take the time to setup a nice photoshoot with a nice camera, chances are your picture will probably get a lot of votes. Also some of these guys have a large following of people in their build threads and that helps a ton too.
