Replacing Shackles a pain in the *****???
I bought replacment shackles for my 06' and I proablly called 5 different places and for some reason everyone refuses to do it!! Why? Is it that hard of a job??? I'd give it a try but I dont have the hardware to get the job done. Anyone in the NY (Nassau County) area know of a place who won't refuse me?

it can be a real MF to do, the bolt rusts and sticks in the bushing and turns into alot of work quick, then you gotta drop the the rearend (one way to do it) down and heat and pound out the bolt over and over and over, then put in new bushings. not fun. i would bet money due to where you live, is why they won't do it, those bolts are rusted to hell already.
