Default Replacing the front struts and rear shocks

I have an 05 F-150 4x4 screw 5.4L and am looking into replacing the front struts as one is currently leaking and also replacing the rear shocks. I've heard plenty of good things about Bilstein and I plan on purchasing all four units from them. My question is this, should I keep my original coil assembly part of strut and just replace the internal shock or should I get new completed struts? I have a bolt-on leveling kit on my current struts. I know i'd have to remove them to change the shock in the strut.

As far as price goes, it's much cheaper to replace the inner shock of the strut, provided you have access to the spring compresser tools you'll need to remove this inner shock.

Don't forget an alignment when it's all done.

Depends on the spring condition, but keep in mind if you don't have a spring compressor a shop will charge you to do it. Figure out if it would cost you more to buy the whole strut assembly or have a shop charge you, then make your decision.
