Default Replaced wheel bearing/hub assembly now ABS light is on

Ok so yesterday I decided to go ahead and take the time to replace the wheel bearing/hub assembly on the passenger side of my 2005 F150 SCrew 5.4. The change went well, while I had everything off I went ahead and replaced the brake pads and rotors since they were shot. Immediately after the switch there were no issues, but now it's throwing an ABS light after driving it for a few miles. I checked the connection of the ABS sensor wire in the wheel well and it is fine and is not making a difference in the light being on or off...

Can anyone offer any suggestions as to what could be the problem? Has anyone run into this issue before?

Could be a dirty sensor.

The sensor itself was replaced as well...it came with the bearing/hub assembly. It plugged right into the female connection that the old sensor was plugged into.

You need to scan the system. OTC makes a nice ABS/Airbag code scanner for about the cost of one hour dealer labor.

Just to update - had my mechanic bring his Snap-On scanner over and run diagnostics on the ABS system. The sensor that came with the new bearing/hub assembly is faulty. Needless to say it will be going back to Autozone and I am buying a new one that is a bit higher quality. Read a few negative reviews about Duralast parts so I think I'll opt with a Wagner part this time.

Don't know what you paid for that probably made in China Duralast part but I found the cheapest prices at http://www.autopartstomorrow.com/ for Motorcraft parts or name brand aftermarket parts.

I didnt have that issue and I bought a $80 ebay bearing. You just got a bad one regardless of the cost.
