I just replaced my abs module and rear abs sensor...the guy helping me work on my truck said i need to have the abs scanned through ford and have something reset? can someone tell me what my next step is?

Yep. Youll have to go to ford and have them spec the ABS module. Did you buy new or from a junkyard?

junkyard...off an 07 f150 with 60k miles

I hope it works out for you. I have an 04 and had to have mine replaced due to a second battery that was installed over it. Battery boiled over and burned it up. I bought one from a junkyard and it wouldn't work. I had to buy a brand new one.. 1100 bucks and then 90 for the programming.

It might have just been it didn't match up to my truck as far as year model. I bought an 06 version. It could have already been bad off the truck .
